With a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of lending compliance, she oversees everything from staff management and licensing to banking, invoicing, BAS, and taxation. Belinda is also the firm’s specialist in Reverse Mortgages, helping Australians over 60 unlock the equity in their homes to enhance their lifestyle and retirement options. Her commitment to accuracy and excellence makes her the quality control backbone of Mortgage Smart — ensuring every loan application meets the highest professional standards before it reaches the lender. Outside of work, Belinda is a devoted mum of three, often found on the sidelines cheering on her kids at weekend sport and enjoying family life on the beautiful NSW South Coast.

As Loans Manager at Mortgage Smart, Laura brings over a decade of experience and deep expertise in lender products and policy. Often referred to within the industry as a Para Broker, she plays a crucial role in managing each client’s finance journey — from application through to settlement. Known for her precision, reliability, and calm approach under pressure, Laura ensures every loan is structured and submitted correctly the first time. Her knowledge of lender requirements and attention to detail help keep the process seamless for clients and efficient for the team. Having been with Mortgage Smart for more than 10 years, Laura is an integral part of the business’s success and reputation for quality service. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on her family’s farm with her dogs, soaking up the peace and space of country life.

Harry is currently completing his Business and Finance degree at UOW, majoring in Accountancy and CPA, because why stop at just one set of numbers when you can master them all? Around the office, he’s our Marketing and Social Media guru, resident Audit expert. With a genuine passion for numbers, markets, and anything that involves money moving somewhere interesting, Harry always has a finger on the financial pulse. When he’s not buried in spreadsheets or analysing the latest market trends, you’ll find him tearing up the field playing 1st Grade for South Coast United, perfecting his golf swing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, or basically participating in any sport he can sink his teeth into, because apparently, studying and auditing weren’t enough exertion.

As Administrative Assistant at Mortgage Smart, Jessa plays an essential role in keeping clients’ loans performing at their best. Her main focus is conducting annual loan reviews — checking each client’s rate and negotiating directly with lenders to secure the most competitive deal possible. Jessa also assists with the collection and preparation of client documentation prior to submission, ensuring applications are accurate and complete. She works closely with Laura and Belinda, following up with lenders to track progress and keep them accountable to their time frames. Her attention to detail, persistence, and commitment to client outcomes make her a valued member of the Mortgage Smart team. Outside of work, Jessa enjoys spending time on social media, staying connected and exploring the latest trends.
